As Coconut Butter is naturally sweet, yet low in carbs, you can reduce the maple syrup or honey to make this recipe low carb and keto-friendly!
Ingredients
1/3 cup (80g) Coconut Butter melted
½ Cup (40g) Shredded unsweetened coconut
2 tbsp (40g) Pure maple syrup or honey
1 tbsp Cacao Powder
Method
1. Melt the coconut butter by placing the jar in a saucepan of water on the stove at low heat.
2. Place the coconut butter into a bowl and add maple syrup/honey, the shredded unsweetened coconut, cacao powder and stir with a spoon.
3. Place the bowl in the freezer for approx. 5-10 mins so that the mixture becomes firmer. Then shape the mixture into the coconut balls to your desired size
4. Finally, roll the coconut balls in shredded unsweetened coconut and store them in the fridge
